From my personal collection is this sweet Madame Alexander-kins SLW dressed in her tagged 1956 "Wendy Visiting Her Cousins" #559 outfit. Wendy has pristine golden blonde curly ponytails tied with pink ribbons, and a triple-stitched wig with bangs. Her facial features are bright and fresh, with rosy cheeks, dark blue eyes that open and close easily. Her body is clean and her walker works, though her legs are a little loose.
Wendy's complete outfit consists of a tagged pink cotton pique dress with floral bias trim on the bodice and skirt and rick rack around the neck and arm holes. The dresses closes in the back with two snaps. Under her dress she wears a rare white underdress that buttons in back and is edged in lace and satin panties trimmed in lace. On her head is the correct pink straw bowler hat with turned up brim and bow on top - so cute! On her feet are pink socks and white suede side-snap shoes with smooth bottoms.
