Oolong Tea

Here is another RARE and MIB Madame Alexander doll called "Oolong Tea." This adorable 8" Lily doll has brown open & closed eyes and black elaborately upswept hairstyle with beautiful flowers decorating the crown. Her lips are painted cherry red to match her rosy cheeks. She is wearing a traditional tea ceremony sage green floral print kimono with striped sash. She has on white gloves and gold shoes. Lily is ready to serve her guests a cup of Oolong tea with her Teacup and Saucer. Oolong tea is also known as "wu-long." "Wu" means "Black" and "long" means "dragon." So it is a black dragon tea. It is widely accepted by Chinese scholars that the tea emerged before 16th Ming dynasty. Exactly how it happened is now shrouded in the mists of history.
