We do not share, sell or otherwise divulge your personal information to anyone outside of our transaction. Your telephone number is used as your customer # within our store's computer system only. We do not solicit phone sales. Please read below to see how we further provide you with online payment security.

Doll Avenue Newsletter- We do send out periodic email newsletters too our customers with the latest on new dolls, doll sales, and special offers. To sign-up for our newsletter, click on the page link in the side menu bar or click here Newsletter Sign-Up. If you would like to be removed from our mailing list, simply follow the Safe Unsubscribe directions at the bottom of any newsletter you receive.

WE SHIP TO: Due to high shipping costs and difficulties shipping oversees, we are only shipping to the continental United States at this time.

SHIPPING: Items shipped to locations in the continental United States are shipped via USPS Priority mail and require a street address for shipment--no exceptions. Doll Avenue has limited our shipping options to USPS mail to assure our customers have the least problems receiving their orders. Once we receive your order and confirm your payment we will notify you by email that your shipment is on its way! 

SHIPPING/HANDLING COSTS: Shipping charges will be calculated during the checkout process based on the following order totals. USPS Priority shipping includes insurance and delivery confirmation.  *Most jewelry items and doll outfits can ship for even less via first class in a padded envelope. For items shipped this way, we will refund the difference in shipping if the amount you paid exceeds our costs.

PLEASE NOTE: Since our shipping is calculated on price and this isn't always an accurate estimate of the charges, we will issue a partial refund to our customers for shipping charges if there is a difference of $5.00 or more between the calculated shipping and the actual price of our shipping/handling. This often is the case when a customer purchases an expensive vintage doll, but the actual shipping cost is much less.  

$5.95 for orders up to $40
$9.50 for orders $40.01 to $60
$12.50 for orders $60.01 to $125
$15.00 for orders $125.01 to $250
$18.00 for all orders over $250

SHIPPING WITHIN CA:
$7.50 for orders up to $100
$8.95 for orders $100.01 to $250
$10.50 for orders $250.01 to $350
$12.50 for all orders over $350


SALES TAX:Sales tax of 9.00% will be charged for every order delivered to a California address.

SHIPPING PRICE ADJUSTMENT: Since some vintage dolls are priced at the highest shipping quote and due the fact that shipping costs vary from state to state, we will gladly consider issuing a partial refund if the actual shipping costs turns out to be more than $5.00 difference.

LOSS/DAMAGE: We take pride in packaging all items carefully and securely for shipping via USPS Priority Mail, which includes insurance and delivery confirmation. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by USPS. When your item leaves our shop it is as-described condition. We have no control over a shipment once it is in the hands of the USPS. The CUSTOMER will have to address any insurance claims with USPS per their guidelines, though we will be happy to assist in providing any necessary information needed to file a claim.


We hope you will be happy with your purchase, but will take returns that meet our guidelines below.

Vintage and Sale Items
  1. All vintage sales are FINAL and sold AS IS, so please email us with questions before placing your order. We will do our best to represent these collectible dolls accurately. If something is important to you, please ask questions BEFORE purchasing.  No returns permitted.
  2. All Clearance and Special Sale items are FINAL. No returns permitted.

  3. All estate jewelry items are FINAL sale and not returnable. We are not experts in the jewelry trade, but will do our best to represent all jewelry accurately and stand behind our descriptions.
 
New and Regular Priced Items
  1. All regular priced items may be returned or exchanged based on the policies stated above and our return guidelines below. Shipping charges are not refunded on returns.
  2. You MUST notify us within three days of receipt or we will not be able to accept your return. You must contact us via email or the website contact form to obtain a Return Authorization prior to returning a doll. This will help us process your return accurately.

  3. Please include the reason for the return and the order number.

  4. Return the item(s) in their original condition with a copy of your Invoice and the Authorization Email.

  5. Please pack carefully in a box large enough to hold the item; the Post Office has several sizes of FREE Priority Mail boxes you can use. For your protection you may wish to insure your item. Return shipping is at your own expense.

  6. Refunds (excluding shipping) are given only on merchandise returned in the same condition in which it was described.  Layaway items are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
