From my personal collection is this beautiful Jill doll in a RARE and HTF outfit! 1959 Vogue brunette Jill is wearing a crispy, tagged "Garden Party" #3263 outfit. The ensemble consists of a sheer yellow organdy over floral print taffeta dress with aqua ribbon sash, original panties and back seamed nylons. Completing the outfit is her picture-perfect correct open crown, scalloped, straw hat with yellow roses. This is by far one of the prettier outfits designed for Jill and so feminine!
Jill is in excellent, clean condition; her walker works smoothly and her knees bend. She has lovely rosy cheeks and clear deep blue sleep eyes. Her body is clean and free from odors. She has the harder to find dark brunette angel cut with original barrettes on each side. She also wears her original pearl heart earrings (some oxidation on the earring posts), but no green ear that I can see.
This lovely Jill is pictured on p.264 of the 2nd edition of the Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls by Judith Izen & Carol Stover and would make a wonderful edition to the discerning collector.
