Oh, SOOO Sweet! MIB Blonde MLW Ginny with the sweetest face, rosy cheeks and blue.  molded lash eyes that need a nudge to open. Ginny has a clean body with no seam splits, cracks, stains, or odors and her walker works.  Most amazing, is her full, shiny platinum blonde flip wig with bangs and lots of curl. I added a new pink bow.

Ginny wears the Medford tagged, minty-crisp 1955 light Wedgewood-blue taffeta dress from the Wardrobe Trunk #862. The wardrobe trunk sold with a Ginny doll and several outfits and accessories. The dress is a pinafore-style with shoulder straps trimmed with a delicate white crochet-type lace that matches the lace around the skirt. The bodice has a pink satin bow in the center and closes in the back with a single hook & eye.  Original minty pink taffeta panties with blue loopy trim and vintage pink rayon socks with the original, bright white signature vinyl Mary Jane shoes in mint condition.  *Note that my camera had trouble capturing the correct blue of the dress due to lighting. It closely resembles the top two photos.

The outfit and wardrobe trunk is pictured on p.129 as catalogs #862 of “The Colorful World of Ginny” by Barbara Clark, and p.103 as catalog #865 of “ by Patricia R. Smith. The Vogue Doll Encyclopedia by Izen & Stover, identifies it as #862.  A beautiful doll that will arrive in her marked Ginny box.  To see a LARGE VIEW of this wonderful Ginny, click the link below.
